Glen Powell established the pendulum on his last project.
In a new interview with Us Weekly, the actor, 36, addressed the speculation that his Hulu series Powers of Chad is a modern riff on the 1993 classic of Robin Williams Mrs Doubtfire.
For those who have been reversed, Powell plays the title role, an old Nfl A player who disguises himself with a new identity to join a university football team, a premise that made obvious comparisons with the character of Williams, who pretended to be a nanny to stay close to his children.
“Robin Williams was one of our big actors, but we are not trying to dumbstile Ms. Doubtfire here,” said Powell.
“This is why we show the Ms. Doubtfire poster [on our series] To show: “Here are our inspirations”.
“We will hang a lantern on it, then we will pass and do our own thing,” he concluded.
