Gold prices hit record highs in international and domestic markets on Monday.
In international gold markets, the price of gold jumped $55 per ounce, reaching an all-time high of $4,071. Spot gold was trading at $4,074.02 an ounce at 0825 GMT, after briefly touching $4,078.05 an ounce.

The surge in international prices has pushed domestic gold prices higher. The price per tola increased by PKR 5,500 to a record high of PKR 428,200, while the price per 10 grams increased by PKR 4,715 to PKR 367,112.
Silver also saw gains, with spot prices up 2.2% to $51.37/oz, after hitting $51.70/oz, amid similar market dynamics and tight supply conditions.
The rise in precious metals reflects strong global demand and tighter supply in the bullion market.
