Goldie Hawn finally revealed that she had once blocked her daughter Kate Hudson from a teenager’s role.
During a special projection of the 1974s The Sugarland Express At the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, on Thursday, May 29, the American actress and American producer of 79 -year -old opened her doors on how she raised her children while being in the entertainment industry.
Hawn revealed that she had not let Hudson enter the world to act when she was in school despite her interest in this.
The Oscar winner said: “I did not call an agent and ask them to be represented. I never did that. ”
“In fact, they wanted Katie for a show, and she was still in high school. And I didn’t let her do it because I didn’t want her at this age, I wanted her to live a normal life, finish school, how much you understand this, but don’t start too early,” she added.
Hawn, who is also the mother of Oliver Hudson and Wyatt Russell with longtime love Kurt Russell, admitted that she was proud of the achievements of her children in life.
“What is good is that they are incredible human beings. They happen to be talented … They are great humans, all. And all my grandchildren-now I have eight-and they are great humans,” she said.
