Google Chrome’s incognito mode is now more private in Windows 11 – and all thanks to Microsoft

  • A new discovery highlights Microsoft’s efforts in improving confidentiality while being in incognito mode on Chrome
  • The history of the clipboard is no longer registered on the Cloud clipboard
  • The overviews of the content media seen in incognito are hidden

Microsoft has been under pressure from many PC users (including myself) because of the litany of problems that Windows 11 24:2 have introduced – but for once, it seems to have done something that me, and others, others, approved.

As highlighted by Windows, one of Microsoft’s previous updates deactivated Google Chrome by recording the history of the clipboard during navigation in incognito mode on Windows 11 and Windows 10. It was previously possible to copy Your content in the Cloud clipboard, which allows you to cut and glue on the devices on the same Google account, but this has canceled which incognito mode is used.
