Google Messages has already improved a lot since he landed over 11 years ago – and in the past two weeks, we have seen Google test more new features that could be widely deployed very soon.
Although Google has abandoned new features in messages since the start of the year, in recent weeks has been a particularly busy period, especially for group cats in Google messages.
But in addition to its new cat icons and group cat links, there are a number of other new design features and late functions that could help improve the user experience of Google Messages.
Although all these features are not widely available, Google has suggested that they will be deployed very soon, and we have a lot of demolitions of 9TO5google APK to thank them for their ability. Here is an overview of what probably comes to Google Messages very soon …
1. Function “Delete for everyone”
Google messages’ ‘Deleting for everyone’ is the last of the new features that have emerged. For the first time, in February, more users are starting to see it appear in their Google Messages application, but it is not yet available for everyone – suggesting that it will be deployed gradually.
There is already an option “delete for me”, but this new update will allow you to delete messages from everyone’s sight in a cat. Users who have access have noticed that “deleting for everyone” only works in larger group cats and has not yet found a chat 1: 1 where they can use it.
There is also a 15 -minute window, which means that if you want to delete a text from a conversation, you will have to be fast.
Deleting the RCS message is also taking place in beta. R / Googlessages
2. Group chat links
Like the other messaging platforms, group chat links facilitate the collection of your contacts in a great conversation without hassle, and Google messages followed.
It was first discovered in an APK disassembly by Android Authority and will allow you to create invitation links that you can share in the form of a standard link or via a QR code that others can scan.
In the image taken from disassembly, there is a rocking that you can activate which will give you two options; To create a single -use link, or a link that can be reused and distributed. The links will expire after 30 days.
3. New group chat icons
On the subject of group cats, Google Messages pays a lot of attention to this aspect of its messaging platform and has new group chat icons.
A number of users have noticed it in the Google Messages application by opening a group conversation, sailing in the upper bar to reveal the group’s details. If a pencil icon appears to the right of the existing image of your group cat, this means that you have the freedom to define your own icon.
After having experienced the features, users noted that you will not be able to define GIF as icons, and you will not be able to return to a previous icon once a new one has been defined.
For the moment, group chat icons in Google messages only appear up to four circle profile images, which does not facilitate the distinction between cats, so a smaller functionality as this will not only be an excellent design upgrade, but also a large design upgrade.
4. Expanded text message field
For a while, Google Messages was not the best friend of a user when it comes to composing longer texts, but it is about to change while Google Messages extends its 4 -line view limit.
The new text field limit will allow up to 14 lines per message, which allows you to see longer the longer messages before sending them.
5. New function for repetition of messages
At the same time as group chat links have been identified in Google messages, there were also speculation of a new group muging functionality – and it seems that it is ready to deploy.
This will see a new button added to the toolbar at the top of the screen when you press a conversation for a long time, which will then display a second menu where you can choose to cut a group cat for an hour, eight hours, 24 hours.
There is even an “always” option, and the menu reassures you that other members will not see that you have cut the cat.
6. Direct sharing and content warnings
The sharing of the live location is a sending of God, especially when it comes to finding your friends in a larger crowd, and this new feature was reached by a code in the application.
Users can currently share their location with another person via Google Maps, but it only appears as a static Google Maps pin. If you move, it means you will have to send your location again – but Google could work to fight against this. The last time we checked, the functionality was not live for us, but there is a chance that Google can experiment with it behind the scenes.
In addition, sensitive content warnings have been put online in a beta version of Google Messages a few weeks ago for some users. The accounts held by users under the age of 18 will have automatically activated this parameter, and users over the age of 18 will be able to deactivate it.
In addition to a redesigned gallery, you can send photos and videos on Google Messages in their original quality which was spotted for the first time in beta in February.
The new layout includes an “HD” icon that you can find at the top right of the final screen before sending an image. When you press the icon, a new menu appears allowing you to select from two options; “Optimized for the cat”, which exchanges a certain quality for a lower file size, or “original quality”, which sends the original image such as the integrated storage of your phone.
