The Google Pixel 9a could be a convincing alternative to Google Pixel 9, because this next mid -range costs less, but may not be a great degradation of the specifications.
Nothing is known with certainty yet, but the Pixel 9a was largely rumor, pointing to a phone with solid specifications and a surprising overhaul.

A launch of March and an unchanged price

We can become quite precise on the moment when the Pixel 9a could be launched, because a source claims that the phone will increase in pre-order on March 19.
Now, they do not mention the date of real announcement, but since Google Pixel 8a took the pre -order on the day of its ad, there is a good chance on March 19 which will also be the date of ad – if This source is good. They also claim that Google Pixel 9a will start to ship on March 26.
Given what extent we have now heard of Pixel 9a, these imminent dates are credible, but it should be noted that the Pixel 8A was only launched last year.
We also have an idea of the amount of phone that the phone could cost, with an early price of Pixel 9A pointing to a starting price of $ 499.
Since then, the same site has reiterated this assertion, but has added more details, saying that the 499 Pixel 9A model will have 128 GB of storage, and that there will also be a version of 256 GB for $ 599.
If this is the case, the starting price – at least in the United States – will be the same as that of Pixel 8A. Assuming that the price is also the same elsewhere, we will examine a starting price of £ 499 / $ 849 in.
However, $ 599 for 256 GB would be $ 40 more than last year, which could mean a similar increase to around $ 599 / $ 999 to elsewhere.
You will probably get at least a few gifts with the phone, with a leak saying that the Pixel 9a will be delivered with a six -month subscription to Fitbit Premium, a three -month subscription at 100 GB of Google One and a three -Mthth Subscription at YouTube Premium.
Can you trust these rumors?
Since the Pixel 8a only landed in May, we claim a launch of March with a pinch of salt, but as no source is in disagreement with this and that the phone has largely disclosed, it is credible.
We are also inclined to believe that the starting price may not increase – at least in the United States, but until more sources are dark, we cannot be sure.
Larger and lighter, with a dubious overhaul

We first looked at the possible design of Google Pixel 9a in August, with photos of what is probably a prototype unit.
These images – which you can see below – show a very different camera design from Pixel 8A or Pixel 9. The camera bar of these phones has disappeared and replaced by a shiny and almost flat ring around the lenses.
This is not a design that we love, but it is the one we could get, because since then.

These later images also gave us a more in-depth look on the front of the phone, but not as much changed there, with a flat screen and a punch selfie camera.
We also heard that the Pixel 9a could have dimensions of 154.7 x 73.2 x 8.9 mm, which would make it slightly larger and wider than the 8A pixel of 152.1 x 72.7 x 8.9 mm. Does this mean that the Pixel 9a will have a larger screen? Most likely, because another source agrees with these dimensions and adds that the display of the 9a pixel will be 6.3 inches – up 6.1 inches on the 8A pixel.
This second source adds that there will be a 120 Hz screen without surprise, and that the Pixel 8A will weigh 186g, which is slightly surprising because the supposedly smaller pixel 8a is a little heavier at 188 g.
Finally on the design front, we also heard that the colors of Pixel 9a could include porcelain (off-white), obsidian (black), peony (pink) and iris (bluish purple). Among these, only Iris would be particularly new for the Pixel line.
Can you trust these rumors?
Given the number of sources has shared images from Pixel 9a, we would say that it is likely that it is the design that we will see.
The dimensions are also probably exact, because once again, they come from several sources, and as makes the phone larger than its predecessor, it is likely to have a larger screen.
The colors and the weight of which we are less sure until we hear the same thing from other sources.
A new camera

Another source also said that the Pixel 9a will have this chipset, which is not surprising, because the rest of the Pixel 9 line uses a G4 tensor. These quantities of RAM and storage would be the same as the Pixel 8A, so there may not be upgrades on this front.
This second source also claims to expect seven years of Android updates, and we heard that the Pixel 9a could have a 5,000 mAh battery with a 18W and 7.5 W wireless load.
These are the same load speeds as the Pixel 8A, and a little lower than the Pixel 9, but at 5,000 mAh, its battery would be greater than one or the other of these phones.

The Pixel 9a will almost certainly use a Tensor G4 chipset because its predecessor uses the G3 tensor.
