Stop up to date with the changes to the Google Workspace Work key or commercial files should soon be much easier thanks to a new “Catch Me Up” feature fueled by Gemini.
The tool is able to browse your Google Drive space and quickly identify which files have been recently modified, providing a complete summary of the modifications of a brief overview.
Although Google warns that these reports are not intended to be completely complete, the tool will cover file changes on documents and file comments on documents, sheets and slides.
Gemini “Come back to me”
“” Catch me up “provides a high level overview of important changes between your reader’s documents, or a synopsis of the main modifications and comments in a particular file, because it was opened for the last time to ensure that users are always up to date”, a blog article on the Google workspace announcing the modifications explained.
The tool will be able to provide several types of update – a high level Catch Me Up report can be found by selecting the “Catch Me Up” boost at the top of Google Drive’s home page, with the answer indicated in the Gemini side panel.
For a specific file or doc, the tool can display if there have been changes in this file since you have visualized it for the last time and offer an overview of what has changed, with a specific catch -up activity indicator displayed next to the file name in Google Drive.
Users must have smart features and customization for Google Workspace in order to access Catch Me Up, which is going on now.
It will be available on the following Google Workspace levels; Standard business and more, standard and more enterprise, customers of the Gemini Education or Gemini Education Premium, and Google One AI Premium – customers with all users who have already bought the Gemini Business or Gemini Enterprise Comperts also defined to receive functionality.
