Lahore:
The Punjab government has a ban on the installation of temporary mechanical fluctuations in the province during Eid, citing public security problems.
According to a notification issued by the Punjab House department, the decision aims to prevent accidents and protect from lives, because large crowds, including children, should visit recreational places during the holidays. The prohibition will be applied to the province’s scale and the assistant commissioners have been responsible for ensuring compliance. However, the permanently installed mechanical oscillations will be authorized to operate, provided they obtain a valid fitness certificate.
The authorities demanded that all permanent rides to carry out security inspections and comply with regulatory standards. The sub-commissioners will be responsible for verifying compliance before issuing operational permits.
In addition, the Punjab home department has created a central control room to monitor security and enforce government directives during Eid.
The control room will operate 24 hours a day, coordinating with the district administrations to maintain the law and the order. High civil servants will remain in service throughout the holidays to supervise the security measures.
