An American company focused on critical minerals signed a memorandum of understanding (Mou) on Monday with the Organization of border work (FWO), in an agreement that the two parties will make in matters of bilateral cooperation.
The memorandum of understanding was signed at the Prime Minister’s house in Islamabad by a delegation led by American strategic metals (USSM), accompanied by the Islamabad Embassy, the deputy chief of the Mission Zach Harkenrider.
Natalie Baker, the loading of the United States, said that the agreement reflected the depth of the links between the two nations. “This signature is yet another example of the strength of the American-Pakistani bilateral relationship that will benefit the two countries,” she said in a statement.

Baker said Washington gave these agreements a great priority. “The Trump administration has made the forge such transactions a key priority given the importance of American security and prosperity mineral resources,” she said. “We are impatient to see future agreements between American companies and their counterparts in critical minerals and the mining sector in Pakistan.”
The USSM, based in Missouri, is engaged in the production and recycling of critical minerals defined by the American department of energy as vital for advanced manufacturing and energy production.
According to the press release published by the PM office, a high -level US commercial delegation went to Pakistan this week to explore the expansion opportunities for mining operations and invest in infrastructure and a value -added mineral treatment.
The delegation, including representatives of USSM and Mota-Engil, has a tour of Pakistan from September 7 to 9. He held high-level meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of the Army Staff, Marshal Asim Munnir, the Minister of Petroleum and the Federal Minister of Commerce.
Companies have been informed of the vast mineral reserves in Pakistan, including elements of copper, gold and rare land. The visit was supported by the United States Embassy in Islamabad and underlined the “solid bilateral links in the economic and investment sectors,” the statement added.
During the visit, companies have expressed their desire to invest in the implementation of addition value installations, the widening of mineral transformation capacities and the financing of large -scale infrastructure projects linked to mining.

In the second term of the presidency of Donald Trump, American-Pakistani relations took a new turning point, especially after the conflict with India. At the end of July, the United States concluded a trade agreement with Pakistan. Trump said the agreement included the joint development of the country’s “massive” oil reserves.
“We have just concluded an agreement with the country of Pakistan, by which Pakistan and the United States will work together to develop their massive oil reserves,” Trump wrote in his social media platform for “Truth Social”.
“We are choosing the oil company which will lead this partnership. Who knows, maybe they will sell oil to India one day!” The American president wrote in his article, without giving additional details on the agreement.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also expressed his gratitude to US President Donald Trump for his role in the finalization of a “historic” trade agreement between Pakistan and the United States.
“I would like to transmit my depths thanks to President Trump for his role as leadership in the finalization of the historic trade agreement of the United States-Pakistan, successfully concluded by our two parties in Washington, last night,” the Prime Minister wrote on his chronology X.
Earlier in June, Coas Munir also held an individual meeting with Trump. Trump said it was an honor to meet the Marshal on Wednesday during a lunch held in the White House on Wednesday.
Addressing the media after the event, Trump expressed his gratitude to the military leader of Pakistan for having visited and recognized the role of the army leader by helping to avoid a new military escalation with India.
“It’s an honor for me to meet Asim Munir,” said Trump. “I invited him to thank him for not having gone to war. He deserves the appreciation of having helped to guarantee the cease-fire. Pakistan and India are both nuclear powers. We are in talks with Pakistan on a trade agreement. The management of the two nations is really remarkable,” he added.
