In a rare demonstration of unity, the government and the opposition parties of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP)-notably Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam (JUI-F), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistani peoples’ party (PPP)-joined the forces for Pakistan for Pakistana in Pakistan July 21.
The development comes as several PTI candidates have refused to withdraw their applications, defying the instructions of the party leadership and deepened internal divisions.
According to Express News, the PTI political committee recently reaffirmed its agreement with the opposition parties concerning the Senate headquarters and asked its candidates to withdraw their appointment documents. However, many aspirants rejected this decision, refusing to resign.

A meeting of the end -of -evening political committee saw the members defending the restricted list published by the founder of the Imran Khan party. While recognizing the long service of Irfan Saleem in PTI, the committee was held closed on the list of Khan’s final candidates. Although some objections were raised on the candidacy of Mishael Yousafzai, it was approved out of respect for the founder’s selections.
Despite the fact of having the compromise approved with the opposition, the Committee failed to persuade the dissident candidates to withdraw and now plans to publish opinions to non -compliant candidates.
In response, unhappy candidates – notably Irfan Saleem, Syed Irshad Hussain, Khurram Zeeshan, Aisha Bano and Waqas Orakzai – brought their own meeting. They unanimously rejected the committee’s instructions and promised to challenge the elections to the Senate.

Khurram Zeeshan published a video message indicating that the question had exceeded a simple Senate competition. He criticized alliances with “illegitimate” individuals appointed in Form 47, accusing the party’s leadership of betraying Imran Khan’s principles.
“We care at a crossroads: resistance or compromise through political horses,” he said, promising a firm opposition and declaring: “We do not do politics; we do jihad.”
Irfan Saleem expressed his concerns concerning the alleged collusion with figures supported by the establishment during the surveys of the KP Senate, claiming that the members of the PTI derive the legitimacy of the mandate of Imran Khan and undertake to expose any attempt to compromise the ideology of the party.
Aisha Bano described the headquarters of the Party Honor and wondered by entrusting him to people accused of having due Imran Khan and PTI workers. “It is not only an election; it is the front of our movement,” she said.
Saleem added that he would consult party workers and colleagues before deciding to challenge the Senate electoral documents. The Dissidents challenge highlights an extended rift within PTI before the high room elections.

Following these developments, the opposition and government benches of the KP assembly designed a joint strategy to ensure the success of their 11 agreed candidates.
Sources have revealed that special panels are being training to manage the voting process, the provincial ministers responsible for supervising four panels aligned by the government. The legislators of the ruling party will be gathered at the house of the Minister of Chief and sent to the Assembly in groups under ministerial supervision to vote.

On the opposition side, three panels will be supervised by parliamentary leaders of their respective parties. The members of the seven total panels will be invited to vote separately for candidates general, women and technocrats to avoid confusion or crossing.
The entire process will be monitored jointly by chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and the opposition chief, Dr. Ibadullah. Opposition candidates will also receive support for government ranks, with votes coordinated by mutual understanding.
In the event of a deviation, such as the votes expressed in favor of the PTI rebel candidates, the two parties agreed to launch an in -depth joint investigation to hold responsible responsible legislators.

The party initiates confirmed that the senior PTI leaders will be present in the assembly on the day of the ballot to supervise the procedures, the main opposition figures should also attend.
The sources of the opposition have expressed their satisfaction with regard to the government’s commitment and arrangements. “We hope that no problem will arise and that the 11 candidates will be elected smoothly,” said a source.
It has also been decided that all complaints or irregularities during the election process would immediately be reported to the chief minister and the opposition chief to ensure a timely action.
