Govt to intensify polio eradication efforts

Islamabad:

The Federal Minister of Health Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday reaffirmed the government’s commitment to intensify the efforts to eradicate polio to ensure a Pakistan without polio in the near future.

The Minister chaired an examination meeting on the eradication of polio.

During the meeting, a complete examination of the recent nationwide polio vaccination drive was presented. The meeting was informed that more than 45 million children managed to administer the decreases of the polio vaccine.

The national and provincial coordinators have shared detailed updates on the efforts being eradicated from polio, highlighting progress as well as obstacles.
