The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced the final cost of Hajj’s long and short packages.
According to a ministry spokesperson, the final price of the Hajj’s long package was set at Rs 1,075,000, while the Hajj Court package will cost RS1,150,000.
The spokesperson also mentioned that the third episode of Hajj contributions would be collected from February 1 to 10.
The spokesperson added that limited seats remain in the Hajj government program, and new requests will be accepted on a first arrival basis, first served until January 30.
The reservation for the short Hajj package is completed and the reservations for the extended Hajj package will only be accepted for the available seats. Private Hajj pilgrims can continue their booking process until January 31.
Previously, the government has introduced a new policy, “Ghar is Ghar Tak”, to ensure improved support and facilitation for pilgrims traveling for Hajj in 2025.
The initiative, aimed at improving the overall Hajj experience, will provide a full service to pilgrims from their departure in Pakistan on their return.
Under politics, the official guides, known as Nazmeen, will be appointed to help pilgrims throughout their trip. A total of 600 Nazmeen will be appointed, with a guide attributed for 150 pilgrims.
These guides will accompany Pakistan pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and on the back, providing vital assistance to navigate in the trip and perform Hajj rituals.
In addition to guiding pilgrims, the Nazmeen will facilitate accommodation provisions in Saudi Arabia and will offer support during Hajj rituals.
Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued strict guidelines for special preparations for HAJJ 2025, stressing that no negligence in the service of pilgrims will be tolerated.
The Prime Minister chaired an examination meeting concerning the preparations for HAJJ 2025. He reiterated that the pilgrims are the guests of Allah and to ensure that their comfort is the absolute priority of the government.
The officials informed the Prime Minister that, as the previous year, SIM cards for pilgrims will be provided by Pakistan, and the Hajj mobile application will continue to work to help them during their pilgrimage.
