- There has been another leak for Grand Theft Auto 6
- This would come from a former Rockstar animator.
- The demo shows a few scenes that give us hints about upcoming features, including bike rental stations and the ability to ride pickup beds.
If you’re in desperate need of more GTA 6 leaks – and who isn’t, at this point? – we’ve captured what’s believed to be some early animation work for the game that provides clues to potential features.
GameRant noticed that a video (from Vimeo) had been flagged on Reddit, purportedly a demo compilation from an animator who was employed by Rockstar, and who did prototype work on GTA 6.
That video has now been removed, but not before the demo was widely documented (and presumably uploaded to share elsewhere).
It shows some interesting scenes that highlight what we might see in Grand Theft Auto 6, including Lucia (one of the main characters) jumping off the roof of a truck. Animations indicate that players might be able to ride in the bed of a van.
The other clue given here is an animated scene of a player character using a bike rental station, grabbing a bike and getting on it, then getting off and returning the vehicle to the station. This suggests that this will be a way to get around Vice City in GTA 6.
Analysis: is this leak authentic?
Granted, these aren’t many teasers, but many players are hungry for everything they can learn about GTA 6. Anticipation seems to have been heightened by the two big delays suffered by the potential player base (and sent players scrambling to find a satisfying enough alternative for an open-world patch in the meantime).
But is this a real leak? We don’t know for sure, obviously, but it certainly feels like a real spill, given the format of the video and the fact that it contains other demo animation scenes from Red Dead Redemption 2 and Max Payne 3. There’s also been something of a scramble to get it removed as well, and that urgency makes it seem like a legitimate preview of GTA 6’s first content.
If that’s the case, I’m guessing, based on how it happened, that it was an accidental leak of a demo that was actually only intended for potential employers (as a private video).
Who knows, ultimately, but even if we could be sure that this was authentic, this only represents early work on GTA 6. Which means that while Rockstar might have planned bike rental stations, and riding in the back of pickup trucks, back in the day, these are ideas that might have since been abandoned.
For now, however, we have to wait until November 2026 – barring further delays – and perhaps watch the two official trailers again, which we know are a preview of the quality of the game coming next year.
