Hafiz Naeem supports Gaza flotilla, slammed us of “deception” in the middle of the reset of Shehbaz – Trump

Jamaat-E-Islami (JI) Amir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed his solidarity with the road aid ships to Gaza and called on Friday a stronger support for the Palestinian cause.

“Jamaat-E-Islami supports the flotilla, and the aid workers send a powerful message to the whole world,” said Rehman, addressing a press conference. “We must further strengthen the global wave of solidarity for Palestine.”

An international convoy of nearly 20 ships gathered in Tunisia with humanitarian workers, politicians, activists and public figures from 44 countries. On board, the Nusantara Sumud are delegations from Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Thailand, Maldives, Malaysia and Indonesia. Former JI senator, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, heads the Pakistan delegation.

Global figures such as Greta Thunberg and Mandla Mandela are also on a mission, which aims to break the blockade and provide aid to Gaza.

Sixteen countries – including Pakistan, Turkey, South Africa and Brazil – urged Israel to ensure the safety of the fleeting participants, warning that any illegal act would invite international responsibility.

Earlier, Rehman recalled that JI had suspended regular political activity to focus on Gaza, announcing marches towards the United States Embassy and awareness-raising efforts in Turkey, Iran, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. He also said that the party to write to the UN Secretary General in Gaza.

“In two years, Israel has crossed all limits,” said Rehman, calling Israel to “commit a genocide against the Palestinians”. He added that Israel had demolished “80,000 houses” in the West Bank, imprisoned thousands and continues to bomb Gaza.

American and Trump

Rehman also strongly condemned the attack on the negotiation team in Qatar, the appellant “the greatest fascism” and claiming that he has happened “on [US President Donald] Trump’s orders ”.

He also accused the United States of having supported Israel, saying: “America is continuously misleading”, while Israeli bombings on Palestine continue.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met US President Donald Trump at the White House earlier this week on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, in what officials have described as a “reset” in links after years of distance under Joe Biden, who has never engaged Pakistan at a level of leadership.

Shehbaz has gone to New York, where he will be addressed to the 193 -member assembly today, focusing on Gaza, cashmere, climate change and other global problems.

Commenting on this, Rehman said, “It is good to get involved in any country.” But, he added, the United States is guilty of deception and stressed that the continuous attacks of Israel against the Palestinians benefit from us.
