The complainant in a gang rape case which took place in Mangat Uncha on April 25 recorded her declaration under article 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure before the Civil Judge and the magistrate of the Ali Naqi Tipu region, detailing the events involving the removal and the aggression.

More than a month after the gang rape incident and sexual violence, the police recorded a first information report (FIR) on June 3.

The incident involved three armed men who would have raped a woman in front of her husband under the threat of a firearm, while one of the suspects recorded the assault by video.

The case acquired a renewed emergency after the explicit images surfaced on social networks.

According to the first reports, the victim resided in Shahdara Town, Lahore, returning from the visit of Nowshehra Virkan when they stopped for a short break. While the victim departs to relieve himself, they were caught in ambush by seven armed men.

The attackers included Ikram, Laeeq and Khawar, residents of Mangat Uncha, as well as four unidentified accomplices.

The victims were taken under the threat of a firearm in a deserted area behind the Unecha mangat government high school, where the woman would have been raped by three men.

The authors also stripped the husband and the woman, beat them and forced them to perform explicit acts in front of a camera.

A suspect named Chand was reportedly responsible for filming the entire incident.

A FIR has now been recorded against eight suspects, but no arrest has been made so far. The police would have completed the whole village in order to apprehend the culprits.
