Halle Berry is speaking candidly about her romantic relationship with her boyfriend, Van Hunt.
During an appearance on Dax Shepard’s show Armchair expert podcast, the Catwoman The actress revealed how her relationship with Van differs from her past romances.
“It’s the longest relationship I’ve ever had in my entire life,” Halle said.
“I can’t go beyond three years. We celebrated our four years as if we had been married for 20 years, that’s how important it was to me personally,” she added.
“We were both scared,” the 58-year-old star continued. “He was waiting for the shoe to drop, and I was waiting to drop the damn shoe.”
“Because I just can’t get over this.” It was such a relief, like, ‘OK, yes, I can do this relationship,'” she added.
Halle also congratulated Van, saying: “[he’s] calm, and he is what I dream of, what I seek and what I need.
Further explaining how her relationship with Van is different, The union The actress said: “There was something about it all that felt extremely familiar to me, but I realized I had gotten into these things for all the wrong reasons, and it was always clear to me what were these bad reasons after about three years.”
“But because I went into this thing with Van in a different way, that feeling never came to me because I didn’t go into it for the wrong reasons,” Halle added.
