Harrison Ford becomes frank on the key to his sustainable wedding with Calista Flockhart.
THE Indiana Jones Star, who celebrated 15 years of marriage to Calista in June, shared his reflections during a recent appearance on NPR Joker With Rachel Martin.
“The elderly can also like,” joked the 82 -year -old actor with the host. “You know, you think of falling in love and all this business.”
“You think it’s the youth trade or something like that, you know, and staying in love is the problem. Maintaining, feeding, fundamentally, not F ******,” continued Ford.
THE Contraction Star added that even if relationships require efforts, it adopts a light approach. “With a few days off for bad behavior,” he joked.
The actor and Flockhart, 60, met for the first time at the Golden Globe Awards in 2002 and began to go out together shortly after. Ford then offered the Valentine’s Day weekend, and the couple got married to New Mexico in 2010.
Looking back on his past, Ford admitted that he was married for the first time too young. “I was married at 23, which should be illegal,” he said. He was previously married to Mary Marquardt from 1964 to 1979, then to the screenwriter Melissa Mathison from 1983 to their divorce in 2004.
The 1923 star is also a father of the sons Benjamin, 58, and Willard, 56, whom he shares with Marquardt, with his son Malcolm, 37, and his daughter Georgia, 35, whom he welcomed with Mathison.
He started to go out with Flockhart after meeting the 59th Golden Globe Awards in 2002. The following year, Ford said: “I am in love”, in an interview with Hello! review.
Ford then adopted Flockhart’s son Liam, whom she welcomed by adoption in 2001, while the couple married in 2010.
