Tyler Perry faces serious allegations of harassment of actor Derek Dixon who declared in the trial that the Hollywood magnate had used his power of industry for sexually assault and harass it while making it silent.
The trial brought by the Los Angeles Superior Court by actor Derek Dixon, which participated in 85 episodes of the BET series, requires at least $ 260 million in damages.
Perry’s lawyer Matthew Boyd said his allegations were false.
The disturbing details given in the trial suggest that alleged harassment has occurred over an extended period, including the same time that Perry was largely congratulated for helping Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their transition from royal life to the United Kingdom in the United States.

At the beginning of 2020, Perry offered the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex a private house in Los Angeles and total security after leaving Great Britain and was temporarily found without refuge.
This act of generosity was highlighted in the documentary of the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, Harry & Meghan, where Perry seems to discuss his decision to support the couple.
Perry said he was identified with Meghan’s emotional pain and felt obliged to intervene when “no one else would help them”.
However, on the basis of the dates mentioned in the complaint of Dixon, Perry would have always harassed his former employee during the same period that he presented in the documentary describing himself as a protector and an ally of the vulnerable.
The contrast between Perry’s public image as a benevolent savior and the private accusations of toxic behavior could place Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a difficult position.
If the allegations have proven to be true, the royal couple would put a pressure to distant themselves or publicly criticize someone who came once to their help.
For Harry and Meghan, the border between gratitude and responsibility could soon be tested before the court of public opinion.
