The source in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) refuted in a cégenetically refuted to social media, said Express News.

A PCB official, speaking under the cover of anonymity, confirmed that no name had been modified or deleted from the stadium.

“These reports are baseless. No housing name has been changed, and all enclosures remain as they were,” said the official.

The denial intervenes in the middle of the current renovation at the Gaddafi stadium while Pakistan is preparing to welcome the ICC Champions 2025 trophy.

The stadium has undergone significant upgrades and modernization to meet international standards.

Imran Khan’s enclosure has been an important part of the stadium since 1992, honoring the role of the former cricket player in the historic victory of the Pakistan World Cup.

PCB clarification follows generalized speculation online, some suggesting that the name has been deleted due to political considerations. However, officials insist that reports are entirely false and are part of a continuous disinformation campaign.

The recent stadium upgrades include new seats, improved installations and improved infrastructure, guaranteeing an improved experience for players and fans.

In addition, a monumental iron statue 25 feet high by two tonnes of a “racing man” was installed at the entrance to the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore before the Male Champions Trophy of the ICC 2025.

The statue was built under the directives of the Punjab government as part of the continuous renovation of the stadium.

The sculpture, designed to capture the energy and movement of a complete sprint cricket player, will be held near the Nishtar Park sports complex. Completed in just 18 days, the statue should become a major attraction during the tournament.

To further improve the experience for fans, the statue will be lit by colorful lights, contributing to the dynamic atmosphere of the event at eight teams, which will take place in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, 2025.

Earlier, the PCB had announced the change of name of two pregnant at the National Bank stadium in Karachi to honor the former Cricket captains Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan.

The Quaid enclosure will be renowned after Shahid Afridi, while the Majide Khan Eenclosure will be renowned in honor of Younis Khan.

In addition, the PCB has decided to rename the enclosure of Zaheer Abbas to the Nazar Mohammad enclosure. Previously, the enclosures were appointed according to the legends of the Cricket Majid Khan and Zaheer Abbas. Each speaker has a capacity of 1,050.
