A new collection of Old Spice perfumes inspired by the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy movie is out now.
It offers products ranging from deodorant sticks and body sprays to shower companions like 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner and body lotion. They come in five distinct categories Super Mario-inspired scents, adorned with artwork celebrating the film.
Fragrances include Cosmic Quest, Desert Detour, Castle Crush, Brooklyn Bounce and, in a slightly jarring break from all the alliteration, Space Mischief. I guess “Space Smell” doesn’t sound that appealing…

Cosmic Quest is described as a “clean fragrance” with watery and citrus notes on a woody, musky base. It’s very similar to the brand’s existing Whitewater scent, which also mixes aquatic scents with citrus and woody elements. It bears an image of Mario flying from space and is likely an interpretation of the iconic plumber’s smell.
Desert Detour, which features Luigi on his art, is apparently “boozy” thanks to its smell of bourbon and black cherry, enhanced with the addition of orange peel, oak and vanilla in a way that almost resembles the delicious old-fashioned cocktail.
Castle Crush takes clear inspiration from the Princess Peach character, which appears on its packaging, with an abundance of summer fruits including peach, mango, pineapple and grapefruit. Added to this are light touches of bergamot and jasmine as well as amber, coconut and vanilla for a little warmth.
Yoshi’s Brooklyn Bounce is another fruity one, with citrus and florals meant to capture all the appeal of “a tropical sunrise in full bloom.”
Finally, Space Mischief is a more masculine scent with a clean watery scent and a bold citrus touch. The film’s villain, Bower Junior, is featured on its label.
The entire line is available at US retailers with prices starting at $7.97. Stock is limited and likely won’t last long, with the film scheduled to hit theaters on April 1, 2026.
