In 2021, the three largest flagship phones – namely the iPhone 13 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and Google Pixel 6 Pro – were devices recognizedly different from each other, but in 2025, their respective successors are more than Their manufacturers would not care to admit.
Of course, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Google Pixel 9 Pro are far from being identical devices – their cameras arrangements, for its part, are still relatively distinct – but they share several commons (dare I say Apple) design themes that have left the flagship category of smartphones feeling a little … even.
