The American secretary of war, Pete Hegseth, had a record presence during the 34-31 victory of the Navy over the Air Force on Saturday in Annapolis, Maryland.
Hegseth led a push-up brigade with cadets, officers and game fans who broke a world record in Guiness. Hegseth’s load of 3,068 broke the record for most people who make pumps simultaneously for a minute.
The Navy not only broke the Air Force football team, but it also took the air force academy push-up record.

The previous record was 2,926, reached by Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, April 20, 2023, according to Guiness World Records.
Hegseth’s feat praised social networks.
Hegseth was a large part of the naval football team festivities on Saturday.
He also joined the post-match celebration and delivered a noisy cloakroom speech after their exciting victory.

The victory gave Navy (5-0) one step ahead while retaining the trophy of the commander-in-chief, awarded to the winner of the Round-Robin tournament between the Navy, the Air Force and the army service academies.
Navy will seek to win the trophy in the annual Navy army game on December 13.
Earlier on Saturday, Hegseth dismissed the chief of staff of the Navy, Jon Harrison, who had been appointed in January.
