Almost four years after the fateful night, however, Ruggs offered apologies to the Tintor family during the event.

“First, I would like to be able to put the hands of time,” he said during the event, recorded in a video taken by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “I would like them to meet the real Henry Ruggs and not the one who escaped something. I sincerely apologize not only to be part of this situation, but the fact that my face is always in the news, is always in the newspaper. They must therefore constantly recall the situation, to remind me.”

Ruggs apologized for his condemnation audience, adding that his behavior was “not a real reflection” from whom he is.
