As The Pitt As it returns to television screens, fans will be able to see their favorite doctors working during hectic hospital shifts following Fourth of July celebrations.
The HBO Max medical drama premiered on January 8, 2026, a year after the first season aired.
The series which quickly gained critical recognition will also have 15 episodes in the new season, just like the previous one.
The previous season won several Emmy honors, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Wyle and Outstanding Drama Series.
The all-new season is back with emergencies due to “fireworks, alcohol-related accidents, poor judgment, celebrations gone wrong,” as Wyle implied. Weekly Entertainment in December 2025.
Before the first episode of season 2 aired, the announcement of the next episode of the award-winning drama was announced.
HBO CEO Casey Bloys announced the news at the premiere in Los Angeles on January 7.

In total, there will be 15 episodes, with each episode featuring an hour from a 15-hour work day at the hospital.
Each week a new episode will air until the finale on April 16.
