Denver Nuggets Star Nikola Jokic became the first player in NBA history to record a triple-double 30-20-20 in the excited victory on Friday evening on the Phoenix Suns.
And his reaction to the historical feat was exactly what Jokic fans would expect to hear the Serbian basketball player.

“It’s not supposed to go this way,” said Jokic. “I spoke to (Aaron Gordon), and he said to me:” It was a calm of 30 points. “I didn’t do anything special, it just seemed that everyone was running.”

Jokic told Sportscenter separately after the match that he would be able to really appreciate the accomplishment when “on my sofa” after the end of his career.
“I cannot describe it, so don’t ask me,” Denver’s coach Michael Malone told journalists after the match. “The guy is just an incredible player, and when you are one of this league, with the formidable story of this league, it says a lot. There are a lot of good players in this league, but Nikola, in my opinion, is just in a class alone.”
