Rawalpindi:
The National Police for Highway and Highways (NHMP) recovered 4.7 million rupees from public transport operators for overload passengers during Eidul FITR and imposed on Sunday 23.3 million additional rupees to overload, officials announced on Sunday.
The rush of passengers is an occurrence of routine during Eid, while shuttlemen working far from the house return to their villages and cities in large numbers. However, complaints of excessive prices by prices by public transport operators also emerge during this period.
