- Samsung has teased an “ultra” foldable
- It seems that it can be launched soon, so we could see a ultra galaxy z fold 7 alongside other 2025 foldables of the company
- Expect larger screens, better cameras and a lot of AI
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is currently the widely available phone in Samsung, but this year, the company could launch something more expensive than the next Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. It is true: Samsung has strongly suggested that a Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra is underway.
In a new article on his editorial room, Samsung talks about the introduction of an “ultra-experience” with a foldable factor, and although the company is not precise at the moment when such a product could be launched, it concludes by saying “the ultra experience is ready to take place”, which suggests that it soon arrives.
This could mean that we will see the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra Launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Standard and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, which should both land in July.
Biggest and better
But what does a ultra galaxy z fold 7 do? Samsung is not super specific here either, but it mentions “larger screens, better cameras and new ways of connecting and creating”, as well as “advanced equipment, advanced performance and seamless IA integration optimized for foldable format”.
And there is a GIF included (below) which shows the outline of a foldable phone, although the shape factor looks a bit like that of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
However, although all this essentially confirms that Samsung is working on an ultra-level foldable, it is possible that these features arrive rather at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Indeed, as spotted by digital trends, Samsung has actually called this new image ‘Galaxy-Z-Z-Fold7-Z-Flip7-Prease-Bartype_1920x1080.gif’, which refers to both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7.
It could therefore be that we will always see only a new Z Fold model this year, a product with ultra-level upgrades which may or may not have “ultra” in its name.
Alternatively, we could get both a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra – although in this case, it is strange that Samsung will not give up a teaser image for the second. This would also question all the previous Galaxy Z Fold 7 leaks that we have seen-could they really concern the ultra-brand model instead?
Be that as it may, it seems likely that at least one of Samsung’s to come to come will be a great upgrade of what we have seen before. Roll on Galaxy unpacked in July!
