Updates on Hollow knight: Silksong have been rare for some time, but new changes to the Steam data of the game have convinced the fans that we finally hear more this year.
The discovery comes from Steamdb (via IGN), where several updates of the game’s steam list have been recorded. Among them is an update to change Silk songThe year of copyright from 2019 to 2025, eligibility for the Nvidia streaming platform, GeForce Now, and adds new assets.
It is the information on copyright that excites fans and has aroused new speculation that the game could potentially be launched this year.
“This is the first update of copyright in 6 years and they have also added cloud games. A user was published on Subbreddit of the game.
“It’s boys, it has been pleasant to live in Silksanity for so long,” said a user in response to a YouTube video detailing the news.
“Okay, all the jokes aside, I really think it could be the year …” wrote another.
Hollow knight: Silksong was announced five years ago and is a series of the popular Metroidvania Hollow knight. The most recent trailer was published during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase event in 2022.
Recent rumors suggest that a direct showcase of Nintendo will be broadcast this week, and if Hollow knight: Silksong This year launches, broadcasting could be the ideal place to announce a launch date and perhaps even a Switch 2 version.
