For the first time since 1935 at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey, the Ryder Cup will be played in the New York metropolitan region, while Team USA and Team Europe will spend the weekend at the famous Bethpage Black on Long Island.
It was announced that the Ryder Cup of this year would take place at Bethpage Black, recommended “only for highly qualified golfers”, on September 17, 2013. Originally, it was supposed to be the Ryder CUP 2024, but the pandemic rejected the Ryder Cup 2020, repelling each of the following events.
It was actually the second time that the Ryder Cup was delayed, the first being in 2001 due to the terrorist attacks on September 11. Thus, the Ryder Cup, which was originally to take place over the odd years, has returned to its old ways.

Now, after almost 12 years since the announcement, golfers will finally be extinguished shortly after 7 a.m. on Friday. NBC, USA and Peacock will broadcast events.
The Ryder Cup began in 1927, originally in competition between the United States and Great Britain and Ireland. But the Americans dominated and Jack Nicklaus was part of the expansion of the team abroad to include all of Europe from 1979, changing the tournament forever.
The change brought legends like Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer and Sandy Lyle, and Europe has become a legitimate force. Since the expansion, there have been 22 Ryder Cups, and Europe has a 12-9-1 file in this period-and this includes the United States winning the first three Ryder Cups since European expansion.
The match biennial match biennial is a three -day event with five different sessions. Friday and Saturday see four four-ball games and four alternative shots, separated between morning and afternoon. On Sunday, the 24 players are head-to-face in simple matches.

In total, 28 points are to be won, so a team needs 14.5 points to win the Ryder Cup. However, since Team Europe won the last event, equality would maintain the trophy until 2027.
Team USA, captain by Keegan Bradley, consists of Scottie Scheffler, JJ SPAUN, Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley, Harris English, Bryson Dechambeau, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Cameron Young, Ben Griffin, Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns. Bradley had the opportunity to select himself, but finally chose not to do so.
Luke Donald brings his 2023 winning team by almost all of his winning team. The only difference is that Rasmus Hojgaard takes the place of his twin brother, Nicolai. Hojgaard will join Rory McILroy, Robert Macintyre, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Tyrrell Hatton, Shane Lowry, Sepp Straka, Ludvig Aberg, Viktor Hovland, Matt Fitzpatrick and Jon Rahm.

Team Europe has a chance to break a pair of sequences, because no team has won the consecutive Ryder Cups since Europe won three from 2010 to 2014. This 2012 European team also remains the last to win a Ryder Cup on the road.
