It is a personal preference, but I have always loved laptops with larger screens. This means 16 inches for me, but HP thinks that 18 -inch laptops are what professionals should aim if they seek to replace their office PCs and obtain a solid increase in productivity.
Presented as the most powerful 18 -inch mobile workstation in the world, HP Zbook Fury G1i 18 ”still manages to integrate into a 17 -inch backpack.
This additional 2 inch gives you about 30% more space to work, which can be useful when managing complex data sets, edition of high resolution supports or work on several windows.
Three fans cooling
HP launches the laptop among developers and scientists of data that need to train and run LLM directly on the machine.
The Fury G1i 18 ”works on the latest Intel nucleus processors, to the high -end 9,285hx high -end nucleus, with cutting -edge speeds of 5.5 GHz. These chips also include an NPU with up to 13 AI performance peaks. HP says that the machine will support the NVIDIA RTX GPU of Next Gen.
There is a care up to 192 GB of DDR5 memory and up to 16 TB of NVME PCIe Gen5 storage. Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 5, HDMI 2.1, USB-A ports, a SD and Ethernet card slit.
The 18 -inch display has a WQXGA resolution (2560×1600), associated with a quick refresh rate of 165 Hz, exchanging pixel density for a more fluid movement. Thermal performance is managed by a redesigned three fans cooling system, as well as HP Vaporforce Tech, allowing up to 200W TDP without strangling under a sustained load.
Other features include an RGB-Backlit resistant spill keyboard, four poly studio speakers, double silver microphones and an optional IR camera for facial connection.
The Fury G1i is also available in a 16 -inch model for all those who estimate that 18 inches is too big to tackle. The details of prices and availability for both models are expected shortly.
