More than 18 months after HPE initially disclosed plans to acquire networks of junior, and several regulatory obstacles later, the merger is now over.
Juniper’s actions cease to negotiate the NYSE and the NYSE and HPE networking activity which was to double, HPE hopes that the acquisition of $ 14 billion will allow it to focus on higher areas with higher growth, creating “profitable long -term income”.
The news comes shortly after the United States Ministry of Justice approved the merger, subject to two key conditions which force HPE to give up its instant on business and auction a license for Juniper’s ops for the source code of Mist.

The CEO of Juniper Networks, Rami Rahim, described the merger as an “opportunity to disturb the networking industry at the most important and most relevant moment”.
HPE noted that fusion aligns with its vision of customers to access silicon, hardware, operating system, security, software and services in one place.
For the future, HPE is considering the combined networking activity to contribute to more than half of the operating profit of the company, which amounted to $ 7.6 billion, up 6%, during its last quarter.
Despite certain conditions imposed by the DoJ, HPE was quick to obtain the approval of the European Commission, which only revealed “any concern of competition in the European economic field” almost a year ago. A few weeks later, the United Kingdom, competition and the markets of the contract authority also granted approval to the agreement.
