Lahore: Hundreds of Pakistani joined demonstrations across the country on Thursday, notably in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), to rage against Indian threats after a deadly attack against tourists through the disputed border.

Prime Minister Narendra amended to continue and punish the armed men responsible for killing 26 civilians in the tourist hotspot of Pahalgam on Tuesday, accusing Pakistan of supporting “cross -border terrorism”.

The attack in India illegally occupied Jammu-et-Cachemire (IIOJK) was the deadliest for a quarter of a century and marked a dramatic change with the targeting of civilians instead of the Indian security forces.

“If India wants to go to war, then manifests itself openly,” said businessman Ajmal Baloch AFP During a demonstration called by a religious party and the presence of 700 people Lahore, where the main border crossing with India is located.

India has said that it suspends the Indus water Treaty, which shares critical water between the two nuclear neighbors, although it has no major means of restricting the flow of the river downstream to Pakistan.

However, demonstrators, including Baloch, raged against the “unacceptable” threat.

“Water is our law and, God, we recover it, even if it means by war. We will not back down,” said Muhammad Owais, 25,.

About 300 people brandishing signs wearing anti-Indian slogans walked in the main city of Muzaffarabad.

“If India is making the mistake of attacking, the Pakistani cashmerts will fight on the front line, we are ready to die for Pakistan,” said Shoukat Javed Mir, a senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the region.

In Quetta, the capital of the province of Balutchistan, around 150 people organized a demonstration.
