Eight terrorists killed in Kalat, 2 in DI Khan, weapons recovered from dead terrorists, President, Prime Minister hail security

Ten terrorists – including a high-value target (HVT) – were killed in separate Intelligence-Based Operations (IBO) in Balochistan’s Kalat and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan districts, army media said on Thursday.

Two khawarij were killed in an IBO in Kulachi area of ​​DI Khan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement. Fitna al-khawarji refers to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a banned group of terrorist groups based in Afghanistan.

“While driving [the] During the operation, our own troops effectively engaged the Khawarij site. As a result, two khawarij, including chief kharji Dilawar, were sent to hell,” the statement said.

Dilawar was wanted by law enforcement agencies for his involvement in terrorist activities, and the government had announced a bounty of Rs 4 million for his head, the ISPR said, adding that arms and ammunition had been recovered from the dead terrorists.

Meanwhile, security forces conducted another IBO in Kalat district on December 24 (Wednesday) over the reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Hindustan, which refers to Baloch separatist terrorist groups.

Arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in many terrorist activities in the region.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid rich tribute to the security forces for carrying out successful operations against terrorists, terming it a strong message to the enemies of peace and stability.

In a statement issued by the presidency, Zardari said the elimination of terrorists demonstrated the determination of Pakistan’s security institutions to safeguard the country and protect its people.

He praised the exceptional courage and professional capabilities of the security forces, saying their sacrifices and vigilance were essential to the defense of national security and public safety.

The President said these successful operations reflected the determination of the State to foil the designs of hostile elements seeking to undermine peace in the country. He reiterated the nation’s full confidence in the armed forces and security agencies in their fight against terrorism.

In a separate statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, Shehbaz Sharif also congratulated the security forces for their successful operations against the terrorists.

The Prime Minister hailed the forces who neutralized the terrorists during the operation and said that under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision of the government, the security forces were achieving major successes against terrorism.

Sharif said the entire nation stood with the Pakistani armed forces in the war against terrorism.

He reaffirmed the government’s firm determination to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and to pursue decisive action against elements that threaten the peace and stability of the country.

The Prime Minister stressed that the sacrifices of security personnel would not be in vain and the government remained fully committed to ensuring lasting peace, security and stability across Pakistan.
