I am worn out and ahing on which iPhone I should upgrade since since Apple has unveiled the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone Air two weeks ago.
The fact is that I put my iPhone on each year (I know it’s a bad habit, but I can’t help but want this new smartphone to feel in September). Normally, it is quite clear which device to buy, and I generally go for a pro model with all the bells and the whistles.
This year, however, Apple offered consumers another option: a brand new device that scratches this itching for something different, something innovative.
Now, two weeks later, and the launch day has happened, and I did what all reckless adults would do … I bought both the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone Air.
So, instead of making a rational decision myself, I will ask Techradar readers to decide for me. I will give you some information on my priorities below, and you can choose the iPhone that I will rock for next year. Please choose judiciously.
iPhone air vs iPhone pro
So … I need your help. I bought an iPhone Blue iPhone from 256 GB and an Orange Cosmic iPhone from 256 GB. I spent my own money, and once I decided which smartphone to choose, I will use the generous Apple return policy for the other.
I go from an iPhone 16 Pro Max (once again, I certainly didn’t need to upgrade, but I am an aspiring for the new technology), and this year, I felt like something a little different, hence the decision to opt for the smallest pro and the brand new air.
I really appreciate the life of the battery, and I would say that I am a power user, not in terms of play, but I do a lot of work on my iPhone, and I spend a lot of time online. That said, I work at an office and I still have access to a charger.
I also really care about ergonomics and I want the most comfortable iPhone because I often get hand cramps with the 16 pro max.
I have a Fujifilm X100VI, so photography is not as important, but I still like to take photos with my smartphone, and I am used to the configuration of the professional camera, so I am not entirely sure that the smartphone cameras are lower.
I love the orange color, but the air looks incredible, and I always want to try new things and be an early adopter.
