Yungblud is shedding light on the tour dates he still had to take now that he received a worrying note for his doctor.
He took to Instagram Stories to announce the news and said, “This year has been truly amazing and I feel so lucky and honored for everything that’s happened,” but “this week when I got home from the road and went to get tested (like I usually do) and my voice and blood tests raised concerns. My doctor ordered me to take a break from touring until the end of the year.”
“It’s in my nature to run and run until I collapse without caring about anything except the music and you guys, but this time I was told that I have to take it seriously and that I can’t do that. I’m really sorry for doing this. But reluctantly, I have to cancel shows until the end of the year. These include Philadelphia, Cleveland, Washington, Mexico City and Latin America. My heart is broken,” he added.
He also explained his reasons in more detail and added, “I don’t want to cause myself any lasting damage, we are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that it is so hard for me to do this, but I promise you that I will make it up to you.”
Before concluding, he added: “All tickets to the United States will be refunded. If you register with an address in the link, I will send you a gift. I never take loving support or energy from anyone for granted. You know that you are everything to me. But I need this time. In the United States, I will see you next year. In Mexico and Latin America, we are already studying my own shows there which will also be more affordable for next year It’s going to be amazing.
