- Apple has just published the first “haptic” trailer in the world for its F1 movie
- The trailer vibrates your phone in time with action sequences
- The F1 film ends in theaters internationally from June 25
I thought I had seen each film’s trailer gadget now, but Apple comes to produce a novel for its entrant F1 Film – A “haptic” trailer that vibrates your iPhone in time with the action on the screen.
If you have an iPhone (Android fans are unfortunately excluded from the rumble party), go to the haptic trailer for F1: the filmTo open it in the Apple TV application. You will then be entitled to two minutes of vibrations, which is probably also a taste of what is to be a celebrity in the middle of a social media storm.
The “haptic” experience of the trailer was actually better than what I expected. I assumed that it would be a simple and one -dimensional rumble that launched during the race sequences, but it is a little more nuanced than that.
To begin with, you feel that the light vibration of a driver’s safety belt is fixed, before the vibrations go up for the driving and accident sequences. There is even a light blow to accompany the character of Brad Pitt, Sonny Hayes, bouncing badly on the balls against a wall while he is thinking about retirement for a last trope of sports films.
Of course, this is not exactly an IMAX experience for your phone, but if there was a film designed for a haptic film trailer, it’s Apple’s F1 movie…
A last Pitt stop

Apple F1 The film was also the star of his recent WWDC 2025 event, with the live opening with Craig Federighi (main vice-president of Apple software engineering) giving a helmet before taking a ride around the roof of his Apple Park building.
There is currently no date to be broadcast on the film on Apple TV +, with the accent currently on its first imminent theater. It officially opens internationally on June 27, but there are special and unique projections in IMAX rooms on June 23 (in North America) and June 25 (internationally) for passionate fans who have registered on the official film website.
So far, the trailers suggest that F1 will be effectively Top Gun: Maverick Located on a racing track – and with the two films sharing the same director (Joseph Kosinski) and the scenario writer (Ehren Kruger), it seems to be a fairly safe bet. The world champion F1 Lewis Hamilton was also involved to help increase realism.
If the haptic power trailer has sharpened your appetite, see our interview with Damson Idris who also plays F1 And gave us an overview of the behind the scenes of what the film was from the film. Hint; They used specialized follow -up cars to help the demanding nailing perfectly.
