- Ecovacs unveiled the new vacuum of the Deebot X9 Pro Omni robot
- It offers a self -cleaning Ozmo roller mop and lifting brush rolls
- It also introduces an innovative suction system
The new Deebot X9 Pro Omni from Ecovacs is a hybrid vacuum and mop that seem to solve my hard flora cleaning problems – I regularly test Robovacs in my role as home publisher at Techradar, and I have not yet found a good job of cleaning my hard floors.
A big problem with traditional Robovac foundation systems is that, because the vadrouilles are only cleaned at the end of the work (either by the quay or by hand), they tend to spread the spills around the soil rather than eliminate them.
Ecovacs’ response is the Ozmo roller mop. Most of the best robot vacuum vacuums today have a tamping buffer in the shape of a fixed line or two rotation discs, but the new Robovacs Deebot use a roller wrapped in MOP.
The roller applies the pressure when it turns and is able to extend to the side to clean near the edges of the rooms. The really ingenious part is that there is a scraper which constantly siphon with dirty water and all the debris when the roller turns, and the roller is then nourished with clean water ready to continue to clean.
It is a relatively simple idea – inspired by the best wet and dry vacuums today – but it could make a massive difference in the effectiveness of the effectiveness of this vacuum cleaner. The system was introduced into the Deebot X8 Pro Omni, which was launched in early 2025, and appears in the newly unveiled Deebot X9 Pro Omni and another new sister model, the T80 OMNI.
Although the idea of Roller Mops is still very new, Ecovacs is not the only brand to explore this conception – it also appears in the Flow Eureka J20 and Narwal. Where the X9 Pro Omni goes further is that it combines the Mop Ozmo with a brush roller that can rise, resolving another of my insects with hybrid Robovacs.
Rolling the brush while the bots targeting means that the hair quickly becomes wet and humans – dust and grime and water is not a pleasant combination. Here, the roll is back and away, which means that I will not have to worry that Mop Mess finds his way on my carpets the next time I put the bot on a vacuum race.
3, 2, 1, take off
Another interesting addition with the X9 Pro Omni is a new “ blast ” system (“Boosted with great technology”), designed to offer better suction with less power.
“With the breath system, we have not only increased the aspiration – we have redesigned all air circulation,” Michelle Jones, director of marketing associated in the United States, Techradar told Techradar.
“Most robot vacuum cleaners depend on the increase in motor power alone to improve suction, which can create more noise and drain the battery life. Blast adopts a more intelligent and more efficient approach – starting with our new Superboost battery, continuing through a larger air inlet, optimized air ducts and newly ingenious submission with less noise.”
She added that Blast could represent “a major step in the major performance and conviviality – especially for houses with pets, carpets or pedestrian traffic.” The proof will be in the tests and we will report once we have had the opportunity to correctly review this model.
The Deebot X9 Pro Omni is available for purchase now, at a list price of $ 1,599, but with a time of highlight, which drops to $ 1,299.99. You can buy it directly from Ecovacs or take a via Amazon. Ecovacs has not confirmed if or when Deebot X9 Pro Omni will be available outside the United States.
It was launched alongside another new robot vacuum – the OMNI T80, which still has the Ozmo roller mop, but does not offer lifting brushroll or new breath of breath. This model is a little cheaper (although still firmly in the premium price slice) at $ 1,1999 to $ 1,079.99 at Ecovacs or Amazon.
