I told you that the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold wasn’t dead: it’s returning “in limited quantities” to the shelves on Friday

  • The Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold returns to stores
  • “Replenishments go quickly”
  • Maybe there is life in the Trifold after all

Rumors about the death of the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold were premature. Starting this Friday, April 10, 2026, Samsung is restocking shelves in the United States with limited quantities of this innovative foldable handset.

To refresh your memory, Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold phone late last year. While Samsung has been in the foldable handset game for several years (see the fantastic Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7), this was the first Galaxy with a dual fold. Unfolded, it is only 3.9 mm thick. Folded twice, it’s a beefy 12.9mm. The $2,899 phone is packed with tech, including a 200 MP main camera, a 6.6-inch display on the outside, and a massive, flexible 10-inch display on the inside.
