Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has appointed four Pakistani cricket players in its 2025 women’s world cup team, with the skipper Fatima Sana leading the programming.
The prestigious team includes players from three other countries – the Antilles, Bangladesh and Scotland – alongside Pakistan on the basis of their exceptional performance during the tournament.
Pakistan captain, Sana, played a central role in his team’s campaign, contributing both with the bat and the ball.
Sana’s best performance occurred in a match affected by the rain against Scotland, where she affirmed 4/23, helping to derail the sleeves of Scotland. Pakistan finally won this meeting with six counters.
In addition to her bowling alley, she played a decisive role with the bat, marking an undefeated 62 against Thailand in a tense pursuit, presenting its direction and its pressure resilience.
MUNEEBA Ali, the reliable opening of Pakistan, was another outside competition. His solid departures were crucial to laying a solid base for the team throughout the tournament.
The best blow of Ali came against Scotland, where she scored 71 points on near one ball by race, anchoring the prosecution of Pakistan in 187 and guaranteeing a comfortable victory.
