Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that if ISI and Raw sit together, there could be a significant decrease in terrorist activities in the region. President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) addressed a press conference at the United Nations in New York on Tuesday.

Bilawal, leading a high -level parliamentary delegation, condemned the illegal strikes from India to Pakistan on May 7, calling them a violation of the United Nations Charter and International Law.

He said attacks aimed at civil infrastructure, places of worship, dams and water and energy facilities, causing civilian victims, including women and children.

He accused India of using Pahalgam’s attack on April 22 in Jammu and the Kashmir of illegal occupation of 22, as a pretext for aggression. “We express our sympathy with the victims of terrorism and Pakistan has always condemned terrorism in all its forms,” he added.

Bilawal recalled that after the Attack on Pahalgam, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif publicly offered Pakistan cooperation in any impartial international survey, confident of the innocence of Pakistan. However, India rejected the offer and launched strikes, to which Pakistan responded to self -defense by lowering six Indian planes which had attacked its territory.

He stressed that later missile strikes were exchanged between the two countries before a cease -fire was negotiated, crediting the international community – in particular the American president Donald Trump and the Secretary of State Marco Rubio – to facilitate the truce.

Bilawal warned that even if the ceasefire is a first welcome step, the risk of large-scale conflict between two nuclear neighbors remains dangerously high.

“The war threshold has lowered, and not mounted,” he said, urging the world community to continue dialogue and diplomacy as the only viable path to sustainable peace.

It is a story in development.
