The former leading female pro-French IGA Swiatek won her sixth Grand Chelem title on Saturday after having excluded American Amanda Anisimova in the Wimbledon women’s final in just under an hour.
Swiatek, who had won clay and hard ground titles, had never passed beyond the quarter -finals of the All England Club – so far. After defeating Belinda Bencic in the semi-finals in two sets, Swiatek qualified for the final where she would face Anisimova.

Despite the upheaval of the current world no. Aryna Sabalenka to win his place in the final, Anisimova has greatly experienced difficulties during the 57 -minute match. She appeared visibly frustrated after losing the first 6-0 game which lasted about 25 minutes.
In comparison, Swiatek looked smooth on the Court Grass, without abandoning a single match to win his first Wimbledon title, 6-0, 6-0.

Swiatek has become the eighth consecutive women’s champion for the first time and added to her collection of four French open titles and a US Open title.
