Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appointed Ikhtiar Wali Khan on Thursday as an information coordinator for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Prime Minister’s office: “The appointment of Ikhtiar Wali Khan will be honest.”
“It has also been desired that all the stakeholders concerned fully extend the cooperation to the coordinator of the official affairs discharge,” the statement said.
Development one day came after the PML-N chief Wali called on the Prime Minister and discussed mutual interest issues.
The overall political situation was also presented at the meeting, a press release published by the PM office said.
The Prime Minister ordered Wali to further improve public commitments concerning Party Affairs in KP.
