A source hastened to explain why Meghan Markle seems to want to keep her title of duchess.
An insider has just come to Meghan’s defense, for continually using the title Duchess, despite no longer being an active member of the cabinet, and for calling out her racism in previous interviews.
It all started when an insider explained that the problems Meghan and Harry had with the firm stemmed from the fact that “he just didn’t like the way things were run within the institution.”

In a conversation with Vanity fair, even a source has come forward to defend Meghan’s use of the title duchess in things like her Instagram page and letters to the government about nationally paid parental leave.
According to the source, who is also a person of color, the outlet explained. “If I were in the same situation and if I was treated as I was by the institution, that would not stop me from thinking that this title belongs to me and that it is deserved.”
“If anything, you would feel like you were giving in to the pressure to exclude yourself in the first place,” they admitted.
