Imran distances itself from the KP budget

Rawalpindi / Peshawar:

In an apparently fresh internal split within the PTI, the boss of the Chief Party Imran Khan moved away from the approval of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa budget, saying that he had been made behind his back and was invalid without his previous consultation.

He rejected the way in which the budget was adopted, saying that a budget approved in just three hours without appropriate consultation was unacceptable.

Imran’s concerns were expressed by his sister Aleema Khan, who, speaking outside of Adiala prison on Tuesday, said the decision to adopt the KP budget had been taken in haste and without the consent of the party founder.

“In my opinion, the” minus Imran Khan “formula has already been executed,” she said, adding that her brother was even refused a two-day expectation on the budget.

The former Prime Minister also said that no modification should continue without the authorization of the Supreme Court and only under his instructions – even if the information advisor of KP Ali Saif said that Imran had given his head to the provincial budget after being informed.

Aleema said that Imran demanded that the party approach SC to request the permission of an official advisory meeting between him and the party’s economic team. “It is only after this consultation, he will examine and decide the changes required in the budget,” she said Imran.

Aleema Khan, who spoke to the media outside of Adiala prison after meeting family members who were allowed to access the founder of the imprisoned party, said that she herself denied herself to meet her brother. However, his sisters, Dr. Uzma and Noreen Niazi, could see him and transmit his opinions.

She expressed her frustration to be denied a meeting with Imran. “What was the rush in the success of the KP budget?” She asked.

“What was hidden from the founder of PTI in this budget that they could not even wait two more days?” “In my opinion, Imran Khan was sidelined,” she added.

Aleema also criticized the authorities for trying to block communication in Adiala prison.

“Lawyer SAIF had been sent to explain why the KP budget was presented if in a hurry and under constraint,” she said, citing Imran, who also noted that “Ali Amin Gandapur should have seen me much earlier”.

However, the lawyer Saif said he had informed the imprisoned Supremo of the province’s political script and informed him of the alleged conspiracies of the opposition to derail the budgetary process.

“I transmitted everything to the chief boss that the chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Muzzammil Aslam wanted to share with him,” he said. “After listening to all the facts and concerns, he expressed his consent concerning the budget.”

According to Saif, the meeting involved detailed discussions not only on political issues but also on the KP budget.
