Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that former Prime Minister Imran Khan was ready to engage in talks with the country’s decision-makers for Pakistan.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Gandapur accused the head of Jeu-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman of being a “hypocrite”, saying that he is still aligned with the establishment despite public critics.
The KP CM said that the PTI movement had already started on Imran’s instructions and would reach its peak by August 5. “A new strategy will be announced after that,” he said, adding that the nation has woken up politically.
Gandapur allegedly alleged that PTI supporters were subjected to torture after May 9 and that a renewed “fascist campaign” is underway. “Imran’s affairs are not allowed to continue the courts,” he added.
Gandapur said that even the constitutional right of protest was removed. “We urge people to go out and protest, but state institutions have abandoned their constitutional functions and are engaged in unconstitutional actions. They left the fight against terrorism and border security to target us instead, “he said.
The chief minister of KP said that a mafia structure had taken root in the country. “The institutions claim that they do not engage in politics, but that’s exactly what they do. I am the son of a soldier, but today people have turned against institutions. ”
He added that Imran has always called for a dialogue. “The public rejects undemocratic behavior. If I met someone for Pakistan, then yes, I did it,” he said.
Gandapur allegedly alleged that the establishment had played a role in the orchestration of false elections and reversing the government. “Maulana Fazlur Rehman himself admitted to having acted on General Bajwa’s instructions to bring down our government,” he said.
KP CM said they had given themselves 90 days. “In the new strategy, we will take our movement at its peak by August 5. During these 90 days, we will decide to continue to do politics in this country,” he said.
He added that there is no blockage in the negotiations. “They waste time to serve their own interests. We have never held secret meetings even in official gatherings, I openly represent the agenda of my party,” he said.
He said that if they asked for permission to hold a rally in Lahore, they will also provide a guarantee that no vandalism will take place. “Even when we do not announce a demonstration, a repression is launched against us,” he added.
Gandapur said, “God forbids that I become as Asif Zardari. I have 56 simes against myself, including betrayal accusations. Our 90 -day period starts from tomorrow in this period, negotiations must take place and problems must be resolved. ”
He said, “I admit that there are differences within the party, but when a party develops, disagreements are natural. I said it yesterday and I say it again today – we have to put aside our internal differences and move forward for a shared ideology ”.
Gandapur added that KP has 190 billion rupees in its accounts. “We have generated revenues in KP. Stop twisting our declarations in false stories. The only person who can solve the problems of Pakistan is the founder of the PTI. The world has never accepted a government formed by a stolen mandate,” he said.
He said that the party had asked not to comment Maulana Fazlur Rehman, but added: “Maulana Fazlur Rehman is a hypocrite. He is always secretly aligned with creation. He won votes using religion, but he lost his security deposit in his own constituency. ”
He also said: “Someone elected from Balutchistan has no right to talk about KP. I challenge Maulana Fazlur Rehman to challenge and win against my brother. If he fails, he should leave politics. If my brother loses in Maulana, I will leave politics. ”
KP’s CM said their campaign has officially started today, with a deadline scheduled for August 5. “After that, we will decide on ourselves from politics, the state and our future,” he said.
He added: “On February 8, the people proved that the nation woke up. There is nothing substantial in business against Imran Khan, which is why they are not prosecuted in court. No political movement in the world has faced the type of oppression we have. We will carry our movement through each street and the city through Pakistan. ”
He said: “We will soon present a plan describing our next steps. State institutions have abandoned their real responsibilities and are engaged in other questions. Border management managers are to be blamed for the situation in the KP. Your martial laws have damaged the country and democracy. Institutions play a central role in training, management and the rise in governments. In this country, it is the institutions that make the most policy. ”
Gandapur added: “Sitting us together, admit our mistakes and advance. Even after facing such oppression, the founder of the PTI calls for a dialogue. This toxic political culture will end up harming all parties. We have endured a lot, but many others cannot.
The KP CM questioned: “Why was there no terrorism during the mandate of the founder of the PTI?” Look at the file – how many attacks and drone strikes took place during our time. ”
He urged: “Sitting us and have a reasoned discussion. After the 26th amendment, even the judiciary was chained. Put aside your stubbornness and ego, and talk to the country. If the responsibility must occur, then all those who have made mistakes must face consequences. ”
He also said that the sons of the PTI founder are invited to come to Pakistan. “They have not announced any plan to enter politics. And if they do it, it is our concern, no other parties,” he said.
United front
Meanwhile, the secretary general of the PTI Salman Akram Raja rejected the allegations of divisions within the party, calling it a story manufactured by the country’s power brokers.
Speaking at a press conference, he said: “It is an elite country. The whole party group in Lahore is proof that we are united in our request for the release of our founder, Imran Khan.”
Raja said that the release of Imran Khan symbolizes the freedom of the state, the judiciary and the nation. “Under his direction, we will change the course of the history of this country,” he added, promising that the events of February 8 will not be forgotten.
He underlined the PTI introduction of the health card regime and said Pakistan’s poverty is firmly firm with the party. “The whole nation and the party are united for the release of the founder of the PTI,” he reiterated.
He also accused the government of economic manipulation, declaring: “Millions of tonnes of sugar were exported and then reparaced at higher prices.”
Raja said that the PTI movement will rise from all households across the country. “We have made a promise to the people we are not going back,” he said.
