Imran Khan says it is to boycott the by -elections, to leave the committees

Islamabad:

The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, asked the party not to participate in the next elections by the Byau, advising parliamentary members to resign from all the committees and to refer the case to the Party political committee for a final consultation.

The instructions were relayed at a meeting in Adiala prison with its sisters, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, as well as the senior leaders of the Gohar Ali Khan party, Salman Akram Raja and the lawyer Ali Zafar.

Addressing the media after the meeting, Aleema said that Imran had reiterated his firm opposition to words and called on all PTI legislators to resign parliamentary committees.

“The political committee will deliberate on the issue, but Khan Sahib clearly indicated his position: the seizure of these elections would validate illegal disqualifications and the selective justice we face,” she said.

“He told us to transmit a clear message: keeping me with lonely isolation will not give any results,” said Aleema. She also quoted her brother as reaffirming her determination, saying: “I will not bow, and I will not agree.”

While confirming that her brother was in stable health, she noted that he knew an eye condition requiring medical care. “We submit a request to the medical examination court, and the doctors of the Pims will soon make an exam,” she added.

Aleema added that Imran denounced the current state of the media, declaring that “the consumer media lost credibility to the public” and was under the control of the State.

On regional policy, he expressed his opposition to the forced repatriation of Afghan refugees, describing it as a violation of Islamic values. “He said he was ashamed of the way the Afghans were treated,” said Aleema.

The founder of the PTI also expressed his pain about the devastation linked to the floods in Buner and in other fields, stressing the need to assess the long -term importance of the Tsunami Arborescence project.

Turning to personal grievances, Aleema and Uzma condemned the arrest of their sons Shershah and Shahrez. “Shahrez is a businessman and represented Pakistan in sport. What threat did he put? ” Uzma asked. Aleema added: “If they want to stop someone, stop me – but target our children reveals their fear.”

She also revealed that Imran had refused to accept the resignation submitted by the secretary general of the Salman Party Akram Raja, asking him to continue his responsibilities. She also rejected rumors of any friction between her and Salman Akram Raja, calling it “legal advisor to trust and part of the family”.

Speaking separately in the media, Raja said that his resignation had not been accepted. He confirmed that the Party political committee would meet later in the evening to finalize the strategy concerning the by -elections.

“We discussed national issues, the situation at Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa after the floods and the difficulties that Bushra Bibi is confronted in detention,” he added, noting that Khan has remained engaged and composed despite the conditions for isolation.

Meanwhile, Barrister Gohar told journalists that PTI provided for a large public rally in September to demand the judicial independence and the liberation of Khan. “It will be a rally for democracy and judicial freedom,” he said.

He also confirmed that the basic privileges of Khan prison had been restored, including access to books and television.
