Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan said his party was left with no option but to take its case to the international stage.
Speaking to media outside Adiala Jail, Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan revealed that he said they had contacted both the Islamabad High Court (IHC) and the Supreme Court (SC), but no one was willing to listen to them. “We have no other choice. We will take our cases to the international level.”
Aleema Khan said they were not allowed to enter the prison and had to walk to the inner gate. She said that previously the entire family had access to the imprisoned leader, but now only limited access was granted. She added that this situation amounted to torture, as even Imran Khan’s personal doctor was denied access.
Imran Khan’s sister further commented that after watching Rana Sanaullah’s press conference, Imran Khan smiled and enjoyed it. “We are trying to convey every message of Imran Khan to the nation. We will not let any message go unanswered.”
She mentioned that two months ago, they were threatened with the release of AI-generated videos, but Imran Khan remained confident, saying that they had the support of the entire nation and all Pakistani social media.
Aleema Khan clarified that although they were perceived to be involved in politics, they were not politically engaged. She assured that they were committed to the release of Imran Khan and his leadership whether he held an official position or not. She emphasized that Imran Khan was the voice and thought of the people of Pakistan.
During her conversation with reporters, Aleema Khan added, “All decisions will be taken from Adiala jail, and they are still in progress. We will stay here until Imran Khan is free. »
She also said that they were not afraid of the threats they received because they believed in Allah’s protection. She also promised to keep Imran Khan safe and report anything done to him.
