Imran’s conviction pleaded for the adjourned suspension

Islamabad:

The High Court of Islamabad (IHC) postponed Tuesday the hearing of a petition requesting the suspension of the sentence of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the case of 190 million pounds to Eid due to the absence of defense lawyer.

A bench of two judges including the acting chief judge Sardar Sarfaraz Dogar and judge Muhammad Asif heard the case.

The lawyer for the founder of the PTI, Shoaib Shaheen, informed the court that lawyer Salman Safdar was on the way to the Supreme Court. He asked the court to plan the hearing for a later date.
