Rockstar confirmed this support for the previous version of GTA 5 Will continue for players whose equipment does not meet the minimum requirements.
However, for the original version of GTA onlinePlayers who remain on this previous version will not be able to play in online sessions with those who have improved patch.
“PC players who want to play with each other will have to make sure they play the same version of the game,” said Rockstar. “The two versions will be available for all those who improve – and new buyers will also have access to the two versions.”
The next patch arrives as we look forward to the exit from Grand Theft Auto 6which should be released in the fall of 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Unfortunately, a bit like the GTA 5A PC version will arrive later; would have been at the beginning of 2026.
