Other reprisal measures include the immediate suspension of the Industry Water Treaty, a keywater sharing agreement mediated by the World Bank in 1960.
India has cited the alleged support of Pakistan to cross -border terrorism as justification of the suspension.
In addition, India has closed the Attari -Wagah border – the only land crossing between the two nations – and has canceled all the regional visas of South Asia issued to Pakistani nationals. Those already in India under such visas had 48 hours to leave.
